There is a deep and primeval kinship with the forest for me, and I assume for other people too. It can be a place of tangible silences, unexpected movement and never ending recycling life. I find all of that comforting. Autumn is a season of richness, colour and earthy spices, the year's face being shed.

Getting a result I like
For the first time in a long, long while, a picture that I have taken that I find no fault with, self-critic that I am.
